How the 6-day version differs from the 8-day one
The 6-day version covers the same loop faster: 2,200 km instead of 2,300 and about 176 litres of fuel instead of about 185, according to the programmes. Day-by-day programme
Day 1: Arrival. Windhoek
Transfer to the hotel, rest, a walk around the city. Options: Gocheganas (spa) or Voigtland (spa, afternoon tea with giraffes).
Day 2: Trans-Kalahari
Pick up the car, drive to Quiver Tree Forest, check in at the lodge, explore the forest. At 4pm, cheetah feeding (if available).
Meals: Breakfast, dinnerDay 3: Sesriem
Early departure through NamibRand, check in near the park gate. After lunch, a self-drive to Deadvlei and Sossusvlei.
Meals: Breakfast, dinnerDay 4: To the coast — Swakopmund
Early morning at Dune 45 and Sesriem Canyon, then drive to the Atlantic at Swakopmund. A walk around town, a crystal museum.

A Sandwich Harbour jeep tour, salt pans with flamingos, an oyster lunch. Optional: kayaking, a catamaran, a Little Five safari, sandboarding, quad bikes, paragliding.

Drive north along the coast, a stop at the Zeila shipwreck, the Spitzkoppe massif, bushman rock art. Optionally visit a Himba village. Check in at Windhoek.
