Day-by-day programme
Day 1: Windhoek
Arrival, airport pickup, transfer to the hotel, rest, a walk around the city.
Day 2: Transfer to Sesriem
Drive through NamibRand Nature Reserve — scenic views and mountain passes. Check in at a lodge near the Namib-Naukluft gate. Optional: an evening desert walk with a guide.

Dune 45, climbing Big Daddy dune, Deadvlei with its centuries-old acacias. In the evening, Sesriem Canyon.
Meals: Breakfast, dinnerDay 4: Transfer to Swakopmund
Drive to the Atlantic coast. Swakopmund — a gem of German colonial architecture, with a crystal museum.
Day 5: Swakopmund
A Sandwich Harbour jeep tour: dunes falling straight into the ocean, salt pans with flamingos and pelicans, an oyster lunch. Optional: seal kayaking, a catamaran cruise, a Little Five safari.
Meals: Breakfast, lunchDay 6: Transfer to Etosha
Along the way — the Zeila shipwreck, a Himba village, and the Herero market. Arrival at a lodge by the park gate in time for dinner.

Game drives in search of the Big Five: elephants, black rhino, leopard, lions.
